Choose Casey Concierge Service

The City of Casey offers a dedicated assistance program to support investors through their journey with Council. The Choose Casey Concierge Service provides a designated Economic Development Partner who can facilitate all enquires and streamline various connections throughout Council and our local business network.

 

Provision of localised data and information to assist with decision making and site selection

Location tours and premises site visits (subject to agreement by the business owner)

Introductions and access to local business owners, agencies and ancillary services to support relocation

Priority Development Program to support access to planning processes

Workforce support for staffing needs

Ongoing business development program and assistance once operational in Casey

Priority Development Program

Council gives priority to proposals which demonstrate significant alignment to the objectives of the City of Casey’s Economic Development Strategy 2021-25.

The program supports Council and the private sector working together through a co-operative, solution focused and facilitated process to drive innovative commercial and industrial development outcomes in Casey’s priority industry sectors for economic growth, job creation and sector diversity.

Criteria

To be considered for the Choose Casey Priority Development Program, the project must meet the following criteria:

1. Operate within one of the City of Casey’s priority industry sectors:
  • Advanced Manufacturing
  • Creative Industries (including arts and rec)
  • Logistics and Warehousing
  • Professional Business Services
  • Visitor Economy (including hospitality, tourism, accommodation)
2. Demonstrate a commitment to the following:
  • Economic benefit for the City of Casey or broader region, including
    • Creation of sustainable and ongoing jobs of choice
    • Providing diversity within Casey’s industry sectors and resilience to the future economy
In addition to the above, applications that may be suitable for the Choose Casey Priority Development Program include:
  • Projects located within Council Priority Re-Development Precincts including: Narre Warren-Fountain Gate CBD, Central Cranbourne and Berwick Health and Education Precinct
  • Projects that demonstrate a commitment to Environmental Sustainability and Circular Economy principles
  • Projects that encourage and support a culture of Innovation
  • Projects that can demonstrate that they will act as a stimulus for further investment, employment or other community benefit
  • Strategic developments approved at the discretion of City of Casey’s Director of City Planning and Infrastructure
